Winterlude

Well its cold, snowy and white outside, time for the Ottawa Winterlude Festival to take place, it was touch and go this year as to whether the Canal would freeze over in time, but the winter came good and the worlds longest skate way was open.

This is the 1st time I have wittnessed the event and there seems much to see and do over the cooming weeks. Free music and entertainment on the American Express Snowbowl stage, the skateway - you can walk if you don't want to skate - odd to walk along the canal.

The 20th International Ice Carving compertition takes place alongside and is good to see. Facinating stuff, fromm power saws to small files to get the detail, all from Ice some a,azing creations are formed. Look forward to seeing some over the next few days.

Been busy and never got to update this for a week, bad bad bad.

Still no prizes from the anishing Point game, wonder what skeeping them, Hope I win a nice Laptop although Vista would do. I can't afford it at the moment and well my Laptop is dying slowly now. Don't want to have to run a pirate copy of Vista but I may have to so as to keep up my knowledge. What a situation hey.
